Our team brings together dedicated experts in maternal and child health, infectious disease modeling, research, and community-based interventions, all committed to safeguarding the health of mothers and children. JOMACC Foundation works because they work:
Executive Director & Founder
In 2020, inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating impact on mothers and newborns, Miss Oluchukwu, a medical doctor in training, founded the Jennifer Oluchukwu Maternal and Childcare (JOMACC) Foundation to strengthen maternal and child health through evidence-based, community-driven solutions.
Recognizing the urgent need for context-specific interventions, she established JOMACC as a platform that bridges research, practice, and policy to reduce preventable maternal and infant deaths.
Under her visionary leadership, JOMACC Foundation has built strategic partnerships with local and international health organizations, advanced maternal and child health through research projects, and supported community outreach initiatives promoting health literacy and equitable access to care to mothers and newborns.
Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Director
Since 2020, Mr. Madu has served as the Director of Research and M&E at the JOMACC Foundation in Enugu, Nigeria. In this role, he leads the design and implementation of epidemiological maternal and child health studies that uphold methodological rigor and ethical standards, ensuring that research findings meaningfully inform public health policy and practice.
He oversees the development and execution of JOMACC’s M&E frameworks, establishing indicators and data systems that track program performance, outcomes, and accountability to partners and donors. He also directs program evaluations and advanced data analyses that assess impact, identify gaps, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
His work reflects a commitment to evidence-based health interventions and continuous learning, which are principles that guide JOMACC’s mission to reduce preventable maternal and infant deaths and strengthen healthcare systems across communities in Nigeria and beyond.
Communications & Programs Director
Nkem leads strategic communication initiatives and oversees program implementation that advances the organization’s mission to strengthen maternal and child health. With a passion for storytelling and social impact, she designs and manages communication campaigns that amplify JOMACC’s research, advocacy, and community outreach efforts.
Nkem plays a pivotal role in developing and coordinating health programs that promote awareness, behavioral change, and community engagement. Through her leadership, JOMACC’s message of equitable healthcare reaches diverse audiences, thereby fostering partnerships across sectors and mobilizing support for maternal and child health initiatives.
Using media and communication as tools for empowerment, she ensures that every message, project, and partnership contributes to healthier futures for mothers and children across Nigeria and beyond.
